Comparisons

Lately I've been thinking about what was going on when Hannah was the age Elijah is now, and what she was like. In fact, when she was the age he is on this very day, we left Atlanta. That was a very interesting realization for me! So, I decided to take a look at the pictures I have of her at his age, just to kindof compare. Here's what I came up with...it's fun to see the similarities and differences! It's also really amazing how different Hannah looked as an infant from how she looks now! It makes me really wonder how Elijah will look in a couple years!

Back to School!

Well, yesterday was Hannah's first day back to school. She's been going to this Montessori school since she was 2, and we love it! This year, she's in their Kindergarten program (even though she's going to the public school Kindergarten next year because of her age--she's advanced enough that they're letting her do their program this year). So, she goes to Derek's class in the morning, which is ages 3-5. Then, at lunchtime, she goes upstairs to Kerri's class and has lunch, rest time, and Kindergarten work time for the older kids, and we pick her up between 3:30 and 4. She's a busy kid because we've also got her in swimming, piano, and ballet!! Today is her piano lesson.

Elijah is doing fine--he's been pretty fussy over the last couple days though. But, on a more positive note, he's finally started sleeping through the night!! He'll go to sleep at somewhere between 10 and 11 at night and sleep until somewhere between 5 and 7 in the morning. That's a really welcome change!! But he still eats about every 2 hours during the day, so I'm kindof restricted in what I can do outside the house still. But I do love spending the time with him--he's so sweet to cuddle!!
